At 13:13 (12:13 pm), St. 5 along with St. 4 (Malvern), Tower 6 (West Whiteland), and St. 56 (Goshen) for an engine and ladder were dispatched to the William Henry Apartment complex for a reported apartment fire. Initial 9-1-1 reports indicated a kitchen fire.

Chief 4 (P. Wilkins) was the first officer on scene and advised of light smoke showing. Deputy 5 (J. Brown) arrived shortly after and established "William Henry Command."

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the fire was extinguished with the use of fire extinguishers from the tenant and police department. Firefighters assisted with overhaul and ventilation of the building to remove smoke, as well as checking the neighboring units to ensure that there was no extension.

All units were taken up and available by 14:25 (2:25 pm).
